Yasmin Rasyid is a biologist by profession, environmentalist by passion. She has more than 20 years of experiences in the areas of sustainable community development and NGO leadership and management. Her specific areas of interest within the realm of sustainability science include freshwater ecosystems, management and implementation of development interventions, environmental education and advocacy, and research and development. Yasmin is also a prolific speaker, researcher and educator.

I have spoken extensively in the last decade on various national and international issues related to sustainability, women empowerment, work-life balance, NGO leadership, social entrepreneurship, and also in scientific and academic conferences and symposiums (environmental issues and NGOs). Provide public-friendly scientific narratives on WWF Malaysia’s environmental programs to the media and public. I also worked on designing and production of communication materials for various target groups of WWFM’s stakeholders.
